Strip Cropping
What it is: Strip cropping is done by putting different crops next together in strips because of the amount of water and fertilization another one needs. If there was one crop that needed a lot like corn and wheat, it would die faster because of taking too much for itself. They plant crops that do not need these as much like alfalfa, with crops that take a lot, so one can create a barrier to keep it even and balanced.
